At Cutting Edge Illusions we have perfected our aircraft process as the OEM painter for the Van's RV-12 SLSA factory fly-away product. From the design of the product paint scheme to the final finish, we can paint any factory plane. Through this process, we have built an expertise in the unique requirements of preparation and handling of airplane parts and materials. We have developed our own set of wing jigs that allow access to all of the painted surfaces without handling the wings. We also have developed an efficent and effective process for prepping fiberglass parts that handles the extensive pin holes found in most fiberglass body parts.
